& Grounded, A Guide for Spiritual Growth Grades 10, 11, or 12 Bible
Curriculum,
Howard & Bonnie Lisech and Jan Harris,
Deeper Roots PublicationsThe Rooted
and Grounded A Guide for Spiritual Growth Teacher’s Guide includes
student lessons, with teacher’s notes, suggested answers, application
helps, visual demonstrations, and review/quiz answer keys. The
teacher’s guide was designed by teachers for busy teachers. Verses
used in each lesson are included and printed in both KJV and NIV for a
teacher friendly format. As a bonus and in addition to the focused
study of the core principles of God’s word and personal application,
each weeks’ Bible study begins with one of Julie Bosacker’s beautiful
unreached people sketches, cultural information, and a location map.
This profile of an unreached people group gives each student an
introduction to the spiritual needs of our world and a challenge to
prayer. The Teacher’s Guide makes teaching easier since all the
preparation is completed for the teacher.
The Rooted and Grounded Student Workbook is
designed to give the student space to write answers. There is a memory
challenge with each lesson and a memory challenge review schedule
included in the student and teacher’s guide. Lessons include writing
assignments when appropriate. Reviews at the end of each lesson can be
used as quizzes if preferred. Enjoyable artwork illustrates each
lesson. The unit tests cover principles and concepts taught and
studied in the lessons, and they are essential for evaluating the
student’s grasp of application of the principles and concepts.
Encouragement for Christian living is presented in an appealing and
easy-to-use format.
Discovering Our Amazing God, 7-9th Grade Bible Curriculum (Book 1)
Jan L. Harris, Howard & Bonnie Lisech Deeper Roots Publications
This exciting Bible Curriculum deliberately focuses on some of the
less familiar stories and events in the Bible to give Junior High
students a new appreciation of our loving God. Beautiful artwork,
line drawings, and suggested activities intermingled with inductive
Bible study will interest and motivate students for study and
discussion.
The Teacher’s Guide will help teachers present fresh new ideas, and
the Student Workbook includes reflection or journal pages to help
students organize and record their new appreciation of our amazing
God.
Each lesson also introduces an unreached people group to broaden
students’ understanding of the world beyond our borders. This profile
with artwork, regional maps and cultural specifics focuses on larger
blocks of unreached people and gives each student an introduction to
the spiritual needs of our world and a challenge to pray for them. |
